Fragments
->
Elements are used to improve Blue Runes that are already attached to the Armor. They are not used on any Green Runes or on Runes that are not attached.
For more information on Elements click here.
Elements must be used on a rune in order to improve it. There are five stages of improvement for runes. Each stage increases stats of the rune. Stages I through III of improvement leave the rune blue. In stages IV and V, the rune will purple.
When an Element is used on the Rune, a message with the percentage of upgrade will appear in the chat screen.
The example shows that the Stone Rune Chud currently has been improved to stage 4.
How to find Fragments
There are 2 ways to receive Fragments to use in Rune Improvement Recipes.
They drop from monsters
You can destroy armour for fragments
Receive them from Luck Glow event
To receive fragments from armour you must use a Scroll of Crushing which can be purchased in the Professional Shop in Guild of Artisans in City Square.
There are 3 Classifications of fragments
1. The Level: The level of the armor determines which size fragment you get. If you crush a Linen Shirt then you will get the smallest fragment pcs. Crush a Mage Chainmail and you will get the largest fragment pcs. Armor levels 1-5 ~ Small Fragments, Armor levels 6-10 ~ Regular Fragments, and Armor levels 11-15 ~ Large Fragments
2. The Color: The background color of your crystal is determined by the back ground color of your armor. Grey, Green and Blue. If you crush a Hunters Shield then you will receive a small fragment with a grey backrgound. If you crush a Northwind Sword then you would receive a small fragment with a blue background.
3. The Type: There are 5 types of fragments all classed in different colors Turquoise, Crimson, Slate, Azure, and Scarlet. Each type is determined by type of armor you crush and each type matches the level of the armor. For example: If I were to Crush a Level 5 Leather Helmet then the outcome would produce a level 5 Scarlet Fragment. If I crushed a level 7 Unicorn Sword then the outcome would produce a level 7 Crimson Fragment.
Below you will find a Chart that outlines what type of fragments you will get when you crush armor and weapons. The number below the picture is the minimum number of fragments you should receive if destroying a full strength armor piece.
