Professions
There are a total of 9 professions which are divided into 3 categories. The primary professions, which are used to pick resources in the hunt screen. The secondary professions, which are used to produce useful items. The remaining 3 professions are usually referred to as third profession, however they can not be classified as easily as the previous two.

You can only have one of each profession type. This includes that you can't take another quest if you've already started one for another profession of the same level.
