Participate in the event and complete quests to receive Steel Shields which can be exchanged for rewards at the end of the event.
The Seasons Deck can be used once a day to receive 10 Steel Shields and the January Gift for 1 hour.
January Gift: +100 Durability and +4 Prophecy.
Every day during the collection phase of the event Little Dragon Urchi has the quest "Urchi greets January" asking you to complete any Seasonal January quest. As a reward he will give you 5 Steel Shields.

Achievements
There are several achievements you can earn by participating in the event or from purchases in the curiosity shop.
During the reward stage additional January Bags can be bought for gold or diamonds from Chigrik the Thief / Gloum the Swindler. Each bag contains 50 Steel Shields but can only be purchased once.
