Spider Battles
You cannot enter a spider battle without a Tarariquon.
Where to find Tarariquon's
1. The Webs of Terror Event. During the 3rd stage of this event you will encounter the boss Young Spider Patriarch. If your group manages to deal the most damage then you will recive a Tarariquon as the loot. All group members who do not have one already will receive one.
2. Fighting the Spider Patriarch. It can be found in the Patraiarch's Cave in the Kretches' Lair. As in the Event those in the group who are in need of a spider will get one for killing the spider.
3. Working your Professions. The Tarariquon is a rare find from working your primary professions (that is Fisher, Geologist or Herbologist work)
4. From Dark Places: There is a rare chance of finding these spiders hiding in chests and caskets as well as hiding in on Dead man on the Web in Kretches' Lair also the Ruin in Plateau of Silence and the Ruins found at Haunted Place.
With a Tarariquon in backpack, talk to Supervisor Pete in Gurradliy's Head in County Vurdaliya or Supervisor Ralf in Mary's Tavern in Baurvil Hamlet.
Items Required
Without the Whistle controlling your spider is impossible. You can purchase this whistle from Supervisor Pete or Supervisor Ralf for the price of 2g.
31 Marvellous Glass (refer to the Hunters of Fortune page or the Tavern Games Guide for more information how to obtain it)
Tubemakers are optional for tarariquon fights. The Tubemakers are used to restore health to your spider in fight. A maximum of 3 pcs can be brought to a fight.
They can be dropped from Zombies or purchased from other players.
Fight
With everything ready proceed to Supervisor Pete or Supervisor Ralf to start a Tarariquon Battle.
You start with 3 options. Hit Left, Hit Center, Hit Right. After you choose your option a message will display in the chat box on what just happened. There will be 4 different outcomes.
Your spider throws himself into battle and delivers a blow to your opponent's spider. This attack takes off 1 hit point from your opponent
You spider conducts a sustained and powerful attack, tearing a leg away from your opponent's spider. This attack takes off 2 hit points from your opponent
Your spider is slow to attack and your opponent's Tarariquon manages to deliver a counter-blow. This attack takes off 1 hit point from your spider
Your spider launches an attack but fails to maintain it and your opponent's spider tears a leg from your charge. This attack takes off 2 hit points from your spider
After each attack the option to "Continue Battle" or "Feed Tarariquon" will appear. If you have any Tubemakers available for the fight, the option to Feed Tarariquon" will consume one and restore 1 health to your spider. Once the fight is over the option to "End battle" will be available.
Each Spider no matter what quality has 12 points of Health. Try using different combos in order to overcome the opponent. Use your tubemakers to help give you the edge. If your spider loses the battle it dies and you will have to find another spider.
Rewards
For Winning a Battle you will receive Marvelous Glass 60 pcs and the Tarariquon will be upgraded.
Tarariquion Class
Every time you win a Spider Battle your spider will increase in class. You can only increase 2 classes from the spider battles. The last 2 classes is obtained from the quest A Child's Dream and you are unable to fight this spider in any battles or events. Remember increasing the spiders class will not make it any stronger when fighting in spider battles but does however effect the strength in the Tarariquon Battle Championship event.

A Child's Dream
Where: Groumer the Guard in Terror Wharf or Sentry in Grand Fort Harbour
Reward: 1500 Exp & Phitzell Amulet of Call 5 or 10 pcs.~ (depending on what tarariquon you turn in)
The part of this Quest asks you to bring to him a Battle Tarariquon. Once you have the Battle Tarariquon take it to the Smithy in Ancestral Mountains or Luan Coast. They will tell you to kill Krogans and gather 8 pcs of Krogan Armour. Gather the armor and return to the Smithy. At this point you can either turn in your spider and armor and he will make the spider an Iron-Jawed Taraiquon and the reward is given: 5 phitzell wraith amulets of calls and exp points 1500. Or you can keep the spider and then collect 5 pcs of Crystalline Coal. After when you have all the items (Battle spider, 5 Coal, and 8 pcs of krogan armor) talk to the smithy once more. Doing this will mount you the Uniquely-Jawed Tarariquon but doing so won't award you any extra exp. But it will increase the number of phitzell amulets of call to 10 instead of 5.
Event: Tarariquon Battle Championship
Only once you have a Tarariquon and the Whistle you can take part in this event. What happens is that your are basically transformed into the body of your Spider like using a Metamorphosis Elixir. Here is where the Class of your spider is needed most. Based on your spider class will determine how strong you will be. Of course fighting your spider and raising its class will greatly increase you chances of winning the Event. The event will start your spider off in 3 battles. Aginst each class of spider. The Last spider is the Battle Spider extremly hard to beat if your Tarariquon has not advanced. Tubemakers are provided for your spider to replinish its health so you dont have to buy them. Losing in the Event will not kill your Tarariquon and you can try again for free. Winning battles in the Event will NOT raise your spiders quality.
