Marine Mas

Marine is a PostDoc at UCLouvain. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Burgundy (Dijon, France). Marine has also completed her masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the University of Strasbourg (France).

Her professional journey combines a scientific path in cognitive psychology with experience as a clinical psychologist working with people suffering from addictive behaviour. As a researcher, she is interested in the transdiagnostic factors of mental disorders. She also likes to work on methodological aspects such as experimental development and statistical analysis.

Marine's main research interest is the implicit cognitive processing of salient stimuli (food, emotional stimuli). In this line, she is now a postdoctoral researcher at UCLouvain and her project focuses on how executive function and salience perception influence emotion processing in alexithymia.
