Pierre Bouchat

Pierre holds his PhD in psychology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He is interested in the social representations of history and focuses especially on the links between collective memories of War and current pacifist attitudes of the young Europeans. Another aspect of his research is related to Belgian history and its impact on intergroup attitudes. He is currently working at UCLouvain on a project on the transmission of the memories of the Second World War in families of Belgian resistants and collaborators.
