Jessica S. Morton

Jessica is interested in the impact of social engagement on the physical and mental health of the individual. Her PhD thesis aims to (1) define the profiles of social engagement as a protective factor, and (2) identify the mediating psychosocial variables that can explain the protective effect of the group. Her thesis project supports social prescribing as a mental health intervention for people suffering from loneliness.
