Achieving Success as VP Public Relations

The VPPR is responsible for getting the word out about the club - generally, this means working with the Secretary to update and maintaining the club's website and social media accounts (Facebook, etc.), as well as working on ways to reach the University of Washington and surrounding community (sending out information via University listserves, for example). The VPPR works closely with the VP Membership to help bring in new members to the club. The VPPR can also run public relations campaigns and order promotional materials from Toastmasters International.

Some HTM-specific tasks are:

• Maintain our social media accounts and reply to questions posted on these accounts.

• Keeping the Officers updated regarding the traffic/success/inquiries we receive via social media.

• Coordinate with the President to ensure all replies to social media inquiries are consistent with email replies.
