Blast and NYI Convention

Jan 28th and 29th-Ths year the District has combined these two events. BLAST is an opportunity for students to share and compete aginst their peers. There are a wide variety of activities to particiate in, such as: vocal solo, praise band, instrumental solo, poetry, preaching, photography, volleyball, basketball, painting, drawing, soccer, etc. Students who do not wish to compete can still attend Friday night whe we will be at the Salem Community Center. The cost for those attending and not competing is $15.00. Students performing will be charged $25.00. Sporting events will be held on Friday night, and all other events will be on Saturday morning. We will be leaving the church at 5PM on Friday, and returning around 1AM. Those competing and those wanting to be involved in the NYI Convention will return on Saturday to Salem Nazarene at 9:30AM. NYI Convention will be helf on Saturday afternoon, after the competition is ove. THe students will return home by 4:30PM Saturday. The deadline to sign up for this event is January 19th This is a great event to build the students up in leadership and performing arts!!
