Angel Tree

Each year, Hubbard Church of the Nazarene participates in the Angel Tree Ministry. Angel Tree is a division of Prison Fellowship Ministries, and is a ministry which reaches out children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. Parents sign up their children for Angel Tree through in-prison ministries, giving basic information, such as age and gender, about each child. This information is placed on an Angel Tree card, and used to decorate a tree in the lobbies of participating churches. Individuals who wish to contribute choose an angel card off the tree of a child to buy for, and supply the gift for that child. The church then distributes the gifts to these children, who may otherwise not have gifts from their parents. It's a beautiful ministry that has touched hundreds of lives!
