The Crockart playoffs pulled in a fantastic crowd who were treated to some great curling. In the semifinals Team Fournier managed to finish with a 3 point advantage over team Halbert. Team Sheppard had to come from behind to finally defeat Team Jobin.

The third place battle came down to the wire. The teams were tied at 7 after 7 ends. Team Jobin had some rocks close to the button and well guarded but Team Halbert managed to out draw the others on the last shot of the game.

For first place Team Fournier led all the way until the 7th end when team Sheppard managed to take two to pull ahead by one point. Team Fournier had the hammer and had two rocks in the 4 foot surrounding the button completely buried. On her first shot Sheppard fired an outside corner raise that stopped on the button. Fournier made an almost identical shot that went through the 4 foot but did not take out the opposition rock. Sheppard made a draw to the back of the 4 foot and Fournier was left with a triple raise takeout which came within inches of being made. 

Great games, great crowd and everyone enjoyed the hotdogs. Now on to the Beliveau.
