Ultimate Chocolate Brownies

3/4 c. cocoa powder1/2 tsp. baking soda2/3 c. butter, melted, divided1/2 c. boiling water2 c. sugar2 eggs1 1/3 c. flour1 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. salt1/2 c. pecans, chopped2 c. semisweet chocolate chunksIn a large bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda; blend in 1/3 c. melted butter. Add boiling water and stir until well blended. Mix in sugar, eggs, and remaining melted butter; stir. Blend in flour, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans and chocolate chunks. Pour into a greased 13x9-inch pan and bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
