To reach peace, equal rights and a basic level of living for everybody the world must reach 17 goals in 2030. Not only the governments and NGOs are the ones responsible to reach these goals. Equality isn't any more about giving money to find mind peace for the rich countries and the rich people. Reaching the 17 goals in 2030 can only be reached if everybody works together and people stop looking at each other for action. The developing countries don't need money, but education and educated population who are willing to invest in their country or region to reach an equal world.
I like the way of thinking of the writer Dambisa Moyo in the book ‘Dead Aid: Why Aid is not working and how there is another way for Africa’, because she is talking about how donating to developing countries has to be changed from giving, bringing knowledge and leave with the knowledge after the project is finished to investing in a project and local knowledge building so the projects can run itself after the beneficiaries leave. The NGOs and the (rich) governments giving have to ask upfront for budgeting and accountability of the ones doing the projects locally. Projects and organizations with a healthy budget are the ones that can succeed and can take a whole country or region out of poverty. Also it is necessary that the projects get continuity when the NGOs or (rich) governments giving the money stop giving money to the projects. Projects have to help people help themselves in the now and future and not make them dependable on aid for the rest of their life.
Social Capital can only grow when people have access to education and time to invest in education. People can free up time if they don't need to worry about The pyramid of Maslow consisting of the basics: food, shelter, water, education, safety, money, climate, exclusion and health. To reach this in 2030 the United Nations set an agenda in 2015 of 17 goals to be reached in 2030. We, the world are not on the way to reach these 17 goals in 2030 at the moment. The 17 goals are:
No poverty
Zero hunger
Good Health and Well-being
Quality education
Gender Equality
Clean water and sanitation
Affordable and clean energy
Decent work and economy growth
Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Reduced inequalities
Sustainable cities and communities
Responsible consumption and production
Climate action
Life below water
Life on land
Peace, Justice and strong institutions
Partnerships for goals
Everybody can contribute to reaching the 17 goals in 2030. In my opinion there is no need for war and demonstration for that and I don't have to contribute to all 17 goals at the same time. Even if I wanted I can't contribute to all 17 goals at the same time. Therefore I concentrate on the goals: 3 Good Health and Well-being, 4 Quality education, 5 Gender Equality, 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure, 11 Sustainable cities and communities and 12 Responsible consumption and production with my daily life, work, blog, volunteer work and free time. My contribution is small, but every piece of contribution counts.
