Disaster Workers

The first responders to calamity in the world after the inhabitants of the disaster site itself are the workers through Rode Kruis (Red Cross). They risk their life to help people in need. I never saw them at work, besides at hiking events and other sport events. I know they were sometimes close by working at a calamity site, when I was traveling. A few examples:

• Volcano eruption near Bali, Indonesia in 2014 

• A hurricane on Kangaroo Island, Australia in 2013.

Safe By Leaving Those Places On Time

I myself was safe by leaving these places, but the inhabitants had to stay and face the distruction after these calamities. Rode Kruis is 3rd quarter 1 percent ngo of Databeet in 2023. This means that from each 100 euros I earn, 1 euro goes to this ngo. This is one of the 17 sustainability goals the world must reach in 2030, safety for everyone!
