Graignamanagh 2-16 Callan 2-8
Graignamanagh qualified for there First Southern Junior B league Final last night with a great second half display and the less said about the first half display the Better.To be fair to managment all plans were thrown into chaos when" surfboard John" forgot his boots and then 43 years young ace marksman and freetaker "the Birdie" had to retire after after 5 mins when hepulled a bit of a muscle somewhere.Different ranges of the age sprectrum stole the scoring show with nearly 40 year old" plummer "and 17 yr old Padraig whelan scoring 2-12 between them,but it was by no means a 2 man show and when we got our act together in the second half we were unstoppable .The second half display was easily the best by any team from the club this year but we cannot get carried away and all players were left in no doubt of the job that lay ahead,"those who rest on there laurels end up on a thorny bush"( inspirnational stuff from a legend of bygone days after the game )
