Intermediates come up short in Thriller

Graignamanagah 3-13 Danesfort 2-19.our best performance of the year was not enough to upset intermediate title favourites Danesfort in Gowran tonight.County star Richie Hogan showed his undoubted class and proved to be the difference between 2 very committed teams .Our boys can be very proud of there efforts and new trainer Michael Doyle seems to instilled a new found believe in our players.Veteran Ger Dowling and Nearly veteran Eddie walsh were the the best of our 15 followed closely by "HAMMER" and 17 year old James Doyle .Indeed the 6 minors on display tonight can very happy with there performance .However we still have a lot of work to do to save our Intermediate status but 2 nite is definatly a step in the right direction.
