Well done to St. Fiachras U14 Hurlers who defeated St. Mullins in the Astroturf fundraiser this evening. It was a cracking game with plenty of skill on display from both teams. Thanks to Martin & Evan Kelly from the Globe for the crisps & sweets for both teams. Thanks also to Liam O'Shea, O'Shea's Bar who supplied the drinks for both teams.
Congratulations to Graignamanagh Hurlers who defeated St. Mullins at adult level to win the Butler Cup on a scoreline of 19 points to 15. It was great to see this competition revived again after a break for a few years. Shauna McGrath presented the Cup to Captain Eddie Dowling on behalf of the Butler family.
