Kevin Fennelly Cup Final: Graignamanagh 1.15 V James Stephens 1.11

The first bit of silverware for the Junior hurlers came by the way of a 1.15 to 1.11 win over a spirited James Stephens in pristine conditions in Clara GAA Grounds last Friday evening in a highly competitive Fennelly Cup final. Graignamanagh trailed by two points at the break and a well taken Lee Kinsella goal early in the second half set up a very hard fought win for the boys in green. Terry Dreelans move to full forward proved vital as he picked off 5 unanswered points late in the 2^nd half. It also helped that James Stephens were held scoreless for the final 20 minutes of the game. Well done to all involved with the team. The Club would like to wish a speedy recovery and return to the field for manager Maurice Aylward following a successful back operation.
