The night began with a lovely Mass in Duiske Abbey for deceased members of our club. There was a great night of celebrations in The Duiske in afterwards with food & music and plenty of craic. Guests of honour on the night were the six Graignamanagh men who won Intermediate All Ireland medals with Kilkenny in 1973. Liam Ryan, Paddy Grace(Captain), Jack Bolger, Tom Tucker Foley, Jack O'Connor & Pat Kavanagh. Selector Jim Meaney RIP was represented by his wife kitty. We were also very proud to welcome Cathaoirleach Ned Quinn, new County Secretary Jimmy Walsh & Barrie Henriques to the event. Thanks also to Charlie Maher of the Kilkenny People for his attendance.Jim Whelan launched his book " Graignamanagh Heroes of 1973" to commemorate the occasion. This is a beautiful memento of the occasion, another one of Jim's master strokes. This book is on sale for €3
