This was easily the best game of the year in the field of dreams as Graig junior b hurlers went to the top of the junior b league tonight on a scoreline of 4-9 - 2-10.Things did not look good when top scorer" Birdie "reported in sick and 2 goalkeeping "bo boos " by club vice chairman Shane corbett put kilmacow 2-1 -00 after10mins.We rallied well and a goal by Kevin Dowling just before half time kept the score 2-8 - 1-5 for the travelling team.Kilmacow scored in the first minute of the second half to extend there lead to 7 but crucially there to only add one more point to there tally and this proved to be there downfall.With 16 left a speculative ball by Martin Bolger from the halfway line the kilmacow let in over his head to return a clanger to us .This was the turning point as 4 mins later Padraig Whelan turned his man on the 14 and drove to the net to put the teams level and here it was all graig and we just about deserved to win on our last 20 min performance Scorers Padraig Whelan 1-7 3f Martin bolger 1-0 ,Ivan Morrissey 1-0, Kevin Dowling 1-0,Jim O Donell 0-1 Alan Morrissey 0-1
