Positive start to All County League

After a very slow start & hurling against a strong wind Graig were trailing by three unanswered points after Mooncoin took the initiative and capitalized on the wind advantage and some very poor shooting from the Graig men. However we slowly edged our way back into the game and went in at half time 4 points to 3 down.

Graig proved to be a totally different proposition in the second half taking command from the outset quickly putting some well worked scores on the board to open up a two point lead before a point from Mooncoin brought the score back to 06-05 at this stage Graig were well on top and a fortunate goal from Lee Kinsella gave them a 4 point lead which was the catalyst needed to break away from a dogged Mooncoin. At this stage Graig were doing all the hurling and further good points from Eddie Walsh, Lee Kinsella and Cathal Dunne helped them close out the game on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-8.
