Some of our footballers prowess and determination has filtered through to our Hurlers as Graignamanagh had to dig deep today to beat Clara in the 3rd round of the Intermediate league in Gowran today .We were the better team in the first half but could not seem to pull away until a goal by Jarlath Bolger in the 29th min insured we lead by 5 at halftime. However this lead was short lived and with 15mins left Clara went 1pt up and the writing looked on the wall for the Barrowsiders however a brilliant final 10min which Eddie Dowling Goaled and 2 more points from his big Brother Ger and some shrewd moves by managment insured ahard fought but well deserved victory, a victory that puts us back in the ball game big time but the big question tonight around the ale houses of the valley of the monks is can we put 2 good displays back to back.
