Graignamangh proved the stronger team in this high scoring encounter. Cathal Dunne man of the match had a personal tally of 1-14, (0-11) frees. After conceeding a goal in the first minute of the game things were looking omonious for Graig. Cathal Dunne open Graig's account with a pointed free, followed by a point from Ray Coady. Cathal Dunne ane Eddie Walsh added a point each and a few minutes later Cathal Dunne blasted the ball to the net from close range which was followed by 6 more points from the number 10. Ronan Dowling made a great save in the closing minutes of the first half but the ball broke and Freshford drove it over the line. Chris O'Neill closed the half with a point. In the final minutes of the game Graignamanagh took control, Leonard Blanch sealed victory when he doubled on a cross from PJ Brett and slammed the ball to the Freshford Net. This was followed by a Ger Walsh point and two more from Dunne. Final score 2-18 to 2-13
