The Members of Graignamanagh G.A.A Club were sad to hear of the death of Mick Moore . Mick was the local National school teacher in the 40,50's in the town, but the gaels of the area will best remember Mick as one the founder members of our in club in 1953 .The clubs records seem to indicate that all was not to pleasent in Graig gaa circles around 1953 and a group of angry young men met to rewrite the history of G.A.A in Graignamanagh . Mick became the clubs first chairman and served in the job with great pride for 3 years until 1955. Although Mick moved from the area, in latter years he was always very interested in the affairs of the club and our results. Our club would like to Pass on our sympathy to Micks Family and Friends and to G.A.A Gael who knew Mick.
