B: Developing ideas

Develop a design specification which outlines the success criteria for the design of a solution based on the data collected

1. Copy and complete the table below. Add in your own 2-3 success criteria for each.

Present feasible design ideas, which can be correctly interpreted by others

1. Create quick, fast, different thumbnail sketches of ideas. You could use the "Grid of Creativity" technique.
2. For each of the above success, criteria give your clock ideas a rank out of 10. Record these evaluations in a simple table.
3. Scan and upload your designs to your B: Developing Ideas page.
4. Provide feedback for at least 3 fellow students by visiting their websites. (1 complement & 1 constructive)

Present the chosen design

1. Based upon the above evaluation, create a good quality sketch of your clock. Annotate, render, outline and use drawing instruments

2. Explain your final choice. How does this design meet the success criteria of the above design specification?

3. Give and receive feedback on designs.

Create a planning drawing/diagram and outline the requirements for making the chosen solution.
