Describe how you can test your completed chess set. Consider field trials (playing) and customer survey.

Bellow is the success criteria table from B: Developing Ideas. You can copy across your success criteria and now should describe how you have tested each criteria.

For example:

  • Do all pieces fit onto a standard chess board? Too big or too small?
  • Are they stable?
  • Was the 3D printing successful? Did you have to modify your design?

Outline how the solution could be improved

Take into consideration the results of your performance tests and the above table. How could you improve your your chess set?

Write a sentence or 2 outlining how each piece could be improved.

and

Take a scan or photo of your pen and annotate the image showing how you could improve eac design. or carefully complete a design improvement sketch.

Outline the impact of the solution on the client/target audience.

Why has the game of chess lost some of its appeal? How could a 'new' version of the game make it more popular gain? Why is playing chess a good thing?

Could this be used as a marketing tool?
