Aims: The main purpose of this elective is to develop an understanding of the relationship between Information Technology and Business.

Objectives:

Businesses now incorporate IT technologies as a normal business practice to communicate. The modes of communications are changing and the capabilities that these technologies provide should be exposed to give students an understanding. This is the business environment that many of you will eventually be working in. This elective addresses a real life technology activity. It will demonstrate that technology is much more than the stereo typical "nerdy stuff". You will gain an understanding of how businesses use technology to appeal to their customers.
