Kamm's Corners was named after settler, Oswald Kamm, who opened a grocery store in 1875 and later a post office. Kamm's original home is today Tony's Restaurant at Lorain and Rocky River Drive. It is home today to outdoor recreation areas and municipal parks and the Metroparks Rocky River Reservation. The area was absorbed into West Park in 1900 and annexed to Cleveland in 1922. This neighborhood is also home to Fairview Hospital.
