I am hearing good things about Groupon - have you tried it yet? BMA is tracking Groupon campaigns that independent bowling centers are running.

Here's what we've learned about the campaigns so far...

- The top 15% are getting over 500 sales.

- The mid 70% are seeing an average of 175 sales and $1,484 in profit

- The bottom 15% earned less than $300

Centers report that on average 35% of the people who buy the Groupon offer never end up visiting the center. That's free money for the center, but on the other hand a center needs people to visit so they can be developed into long-term clients.

Since Groupon does not share the email addresses of those who buy your offer, we still need to get bodies into the center to show them a great time and collect their email address in order to invite them back each month.
