Slow computer problem fixed
My trusty ol' Windows XP machine has been running slow for a while.
Today I focused on the process that seemed to be involved... msmpeng.exe ...and found a post that suggested a fix. Turns out Microsoft's Windows Defender anti malware program wastes resources... watching itself!
I tried this 1 minute tweak and... it worked!
