The pathetic Big Ten Week 7 Power Rankings...I wanted to shoot myself watching these games this weekend. Luckily some other conferences actually played some football and were watchable. The highlight of the weekend was the missed field goal in regulation by Michigans kicker. It was about 10 yards short but Matt Millen got really excited about the rotation on the ball. Maybe Joey Galloway, Chris Speilman, and Matt Millen made the games worse than they really were. This guy in the blue car had a easier time driving than Michigan did running the ball:
1. Knipp - 2nd place in an off week. Someone (Farber) needs to step it up in order to catch this squad.
2. Farber - Gardner is terrible, but him being the only running option on Michigan is great for this team. A great week and would have been even bigger if Abbrederis would have played more than one quarter.
3. Luke - Nice quarterback play. The rest of the team is solid though especially with Yancey emerging.
4. Schumann - 103 points without a quarterback deserves a bump up in the rankings. If Belton starts carrying the load, this team could make some noise.
5. Haines - This might be as high as this team gets the rest of the year. Haven't heard anything on Mark and without him there's nothing at rb.
6. Jake - Ring leader right now of the bottom three ne'er do wells. Connor Cook is my best player.
7. Heydinger - Looked to be turning things around and then Sudfeld just stopped playing. Bennie Fowler was playing well too and then got hurt. Hard to say where this team is headed.
8. Seth - We may be looking at a record breaking season at this point, and with Nebraska off next week, good luck cracking 40 points.
