Always tough to tell how good a team is going to be from the first few weeks. Competition like UMass and Buffalo doesn't give a good representation of season performance. I see a lot of waiver wire action this week though. Last year I spent much of the first week making fun of Michigan St's offense. I could do the same again but I'll just say they're awful.
1. Farber - I'm starting to get the "feel" about this team that everyone was talking about before the season. Very good at every position, especially if Tevin Coleman keeps his starting position.
2. Seth - Another that should be near the top the entire season. Solid from top to bottom and Jordan Hall looked very good, even if it was against Buffalo.
3. Knipp - I love the running backs and receivers and feel as the season goes along Toussaint, Gordon, and Brown will get more touches. With solid play from Hackenburg it could be a big year.
4. Jake - I'm calling fluke on the first week win. The running backs were already bad but now the Kirkwood is dinged it is only getting worse.
5. Luke - Another team where I think a lot of the best players didn't get as many touches because the competition they were playing. Has to be better than the showing this week.
6. Haines - I thought Robinson would have a done year do to the quarterback change; didn't take long for me to be proved wrong there. Not sure what the deal with Mark is but he will be needed desperately because the rest of that group is not good.
7. Schumann - Really a solid team but I'm thinking the quarterbacks peaked in week 1. But if one of them can produce every week, this team will be moving the board in no time.
8. Heydinger - I don't like any position group on this team except tight end and they combined for 2 catches this week. The best thing for this team would be for Simien to play every down and Colter to start at wide receiver; may be Dinger's only chance.
