Very wacky stats Luke. I'd have to say injuries have been a bigger part of this year than any other year. Almost every team has had an injury to one of their best players so far. The winner this year may come down to who plays the waiver wire the best, because every team is very close.
1. Schumann - More of a ranking of what this team has done so far and not what they can be. I can see this team falling fast.
2. Knipp - It's hard putting a team with 2 injured quarterbacks in second place, but the team is solid and gets Scheelhaase back this week most likely.
3. Farber - As soon as Burkhead comes back, look for Farber to be moving up in the rankings. The winner at the end of the year could be decided on if Abdullah or Burkhead gets more carries.
4. Seth - Got most of your points this week from 2 players (MIiller, PSU D), and I don't see either one continuing that success the rest of the year.
5. Luke - Luke is writing letters as we speak to Pat Fitzgerald to figure out the QB situation in Northwestern. This two QB system is killing his team. It's probably about time for one of Luke's patented 6 team trades.
6. Haines - Look for more good things out of Hall the rest of the year, and Iowa can not continue to be this bad, so things are looking up for this team.
7. Heydinger - I mean the QB's....I can't even say anything about them. Also too much reliance on Indiana and Penn St. I think.
8. Jake - Too many injuries, too little production. It's getting late early for me.
Blast from the Past:
In honor of Knipp's quarterback's being hurt: Email from Schumann, 12-7-10:
Knipp did pull out a nice little season. Didn't we let him keep every purdue QB on the depth chart after Marve went down?
Great call on the website Jake. I think I made a angelfire site in 7th grade. Maybe this can factor in to the decision on who to pick for the 8th spot.
Fun season. I know I spend 8 hours a day on a computer with internet access to any website that doesn't have the word sex in it but Bill Simmons has inspired me to propose a 2 response minimum to any email thread pertaining to the league. I'm dying to hear Seth compare letting this season slip away to the time he shot that duck and his hunting dog couldn't find it, or a vow from Farber to come back next season and that he was just 3 running backs away from being in contention
