Sidebar to start out the week. The Big Ten, other than maybe Wisconsin is bad. Now on to the rankings. A lot of players seem to be under-performing thus far besides all the quarterbacks. Things will be a little out of whack until the FCS teams get off the schedule. Very close scoring this week and I wonder if people weren't clamoring for Schumann's scoring system after seeing the results.
1. Jake - Not going to get a week like that again out of my Kicker and Def/SP and I see a lot of holes to fill, but someone has to be first.
2. Haines - Out-performing expectations and I think his team can only get better.
3. Luke - Probably thinks he deserves to be ranked second. Let's face it, he's had issues with these rankings in the past but he could very easily take over #1 next week too.
4. Knipp - Big drop for the 1 point performance. But PSU Def and K will not have to play Alabama again, so he shouldn't feel too bad about his team.
5. Heydinger - I'm guessing this will be the only week he doesn't get a TD from a WR. That being said, the future QB production does not look bright.
6. Seth - Back to a familiar position this year after last year's breakout season. I expect more out of Jamaal Berry in the coming weeks though.
7. Farber - Only fielding half a team and getting 104 points is pretty impressive, but still, you're only fielding half a team.
8. Schumann - Really needs Persa back, and Posey, and Trumpy. Until then, enjoy 8th.
