First up today is the weekly quiz. This is much more content-related that the previous one and the next will be even more so.

Thank you, the majority of the class, for turning in birthday cards. I went through the checklist, scored your work, and will distribute the numbers. Next due are the business cards, some of which have already been received. Although it is important not to get behind, it is also important to show your best work. Do not turn something in just to get it out of the way. Turn it in because it is complete, demonstrates what you are capable of, and makes you proud.

We are doing a lot with text inside Word. You've heard me emphasize that we shouldn't be moving text around by adding spaces, but rather by using formatting commands. In addition to the fact that spaces are not accurate, there is better justification in the rule of thumb that admonishes us to separate form from content. We'll watch a short video that emphasizes this point. We will eventually be transferring our skills with Word to skills at writing internet content, and we want to be prepared.

With that all in mind, let's take the initial steps at peering into our Word documents and checking out what their form and content really are.
