Although your favorites are probably looking quite nice in a web browser, it may be because the browser can read your mind and is taking into account some missing tags and typos. Other browsers might not be as smart or accommodating so that your page appears differently on someone else's computer. Besides that, you don't want the entire world to know about your technical typos. An HTML validator is the tool to use to check for syntax of a web page. For today's do now activity, copy your HTML data into the form and check your work. The original file will be checked shortly so that you can compare results.
As announced yesterday, time is running out on the two open projects, Outline and the web version of Our Favorites. They are due today. Many students have already submitted their work and anything that comes in before the end of class receives a 5% bonus. Anything that arrives before 10pm is still on time. Afterwards, projects lose 10% per school day and no time will be reserved for work on the projects. If you finish something else, you can of course go back and finish up. The clock is ticking, however, and it would be better to consider the project high priority homework.
