POURING MELANCHOLY
you took my hills and wood out of their childhood
it was a grey and wet country, on a Sunday
in the one-use town
a last passer-by wounded by a melancholic knife.
MELANCHOLY VERSANT
DRESSED IN COLD
a Venice smelling likes loneliness
a winter smoking, looking for shelter
in the armchair in the living room, there is
a frozen angel
rolling down through your word
colder and colder in your left hand
darker and darker in your right hand.
ţara mea are riduri
o poartă copiii în bagaje
într-o canadă melancolică
România nu-i acasă
sunt lacăte pe uşi
şi-i întuneric până la lacrimă
are nevoie să-i faci respiraţie inimă la inimă
are nevoie de chirurg
să intre în operaţie pe cord deschis
MY COUNTRY
I can see the autumn
beyond the sun flower field
my country is old
and the children carry it in their luggage
on their way to a melancholic canada
Romania is not at home
she’s under lock and key
and dark to tears
she needs heart-to-heart breathing
she needs surgery
on open heart
MON PAYS
PORTRAIT ON THE ROAD
fair snowing lightly by the melancholy of an angel
we’re still exporting iron wet by tears
a kamikaze autumn
fakir on a smile
the road passing through the spiked night
I still give my blood, for nothing, somewhere, in the history.
on exporte encore
A HOUSE IN THE CITY
a last horse is still swiping the dark
from the Romanian plain
your thoughts warming the Eskimos
my father passes through death
Marquez is telling us about his 100 years of solitude
a night in his shoulder
an autumn in his leg
with the sadness in his luggage you could build a house
