Sacred Heart will have a group of 55 people getting on a bus the morning of October 2. Cars will begin arriving at 7:00 am and continue during our drop off. Because of this we will alter our drop off procedures.
Use only the bottom lane.
Students wil be allowed in the building as soon as you arrive (no before school care charge starting at 6:50)
Use the GRAY door from 6:50-7:00.
At 7:00 there will be a teacher at both the GRAY and RED door to let students in.
Allow extra patience, we may need to adapt based on the situation.

Today at mass we discussed the importance of having Jesus with us. There will be times throughout life we will surround ourselves with things we think we need, or times where we feel unprepared, but as long as we carry Jesus in our hearts wherever we go - everything will work out the way it's supposed to.
If you would like to volunteer for fieldtrips or at any school event you need to sign up for the Safe Environment training through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Two upcoming trainings in Racine are listed below.
Happy October! It's hard to believe one month is done. We are in all of our routines and the students are very adjusted. The littles are doing a fantastic job. October is the month of the Rosary. Our students were blessed with a handmade Rosary they will be using throughout the year from parishioners at St Sebastians. Next week on Oct. 7th our Middle School students will lead us in a living Rosary. This will be our second whole school Rosary of the year.
In the counseling corner this week, we are now focusing on our October virtue of Acceptance, meaning to accept others for who they are and to accept things and ideas that could be different from what we are used to. Our weekly intention is “I will look for chances to include others who feel left out”, this is such a powerful concept for students to focus on. On our SEL lesson front, this week we are learning about our feelings and learning some strategies to help when we are feeling angry or sad.
Kindergarten celebrated fall with a day dedicated to apples. They had so much fun with different apple activities. They ate apple snacks and had apple cider too. Of course they had to top it off with the crown. Ms. Clarey keeps our learning engaging for the youngest learners.
John 23rd is a community program in St. Patrick's church that provides after school tutoring, homework help and enrichment events. They are taking registrations for 4-12 grade. It is a free program. Here is the link to register. 25-26 After School Registration
