Conferences Middle School is mandatory but unscheduled, they will all be in the gym and you can wait in line for the teachers you need to see.

This Saturday is the Feast of All Saints' Day. We honor those who have achieved a saintly life and reflect on our own path of holiness. On Monday, November 3rd our students will be learning about different saints in each classroom. Look for their pictures in the hallway as you visit during conferences.
On Sunday the church observes all souls day, which is a day to pray for the deceased.
Dia de los Muertos is a celebration with both religious and cultural roots. We will create an ofrenda in the lobby to be on display all of next week. Please visit during conferences. Students will have a buddy activity to decorate calaveras (sugar skulls). Bring in a picture of a loved one if you would like to add to our ofrenda.
Father Richter came on Monday to offer confession to our students. There was such a large request that the time he had blocked off he could only get through some of out 8th grade students. We do have another date already set for November, however, we are working out a way to either add more dates, times, or priests to be able to get to everyone.
If you would like to volunteer for fieldtrips or at any school event you need to sign up for the Safe Environment training through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
We had such a great time at Trunk or Treat. I appreciate everyone's efforts in decorating and following the guidelines set by the archdiocese. Thank you! We really have a great community. We have almost everyone signed up for conferences. If you have not already done so please see the sign up links above and make sure to see your students teachers. Grades 6-8 and our PE and Music will be in the Gym. Mrs. Doyle is not here on Friday's if you have any specific questions for her please reach out and she can call ahead of conferences or leave a message with the teacher.
In the counselor's corner this week, we are closing out our virtue focus on acceptance and continuing to work on this all year long. It is Red Ribbon week this week and we are celebrating with a variety of different spirit days. On the SEL side of things we are focusing on active or whole body listening and getting into Gratitude next week ahead of the Holidays.

When we think about classrooms we often think about the grade levels and maybe our specials. We can not forget the magic that happens in Mrs. Koll's room our Learning Support Coordinator. Did you know Mrs. Koll has a lunch bunch with students from 1st grade through 5th grade working on extending reading. These kiddos absolutely love to read and want to spend their lunch time reading for fun with Mrs. Koll.
John 23rd is a community program in St. Patrick's church that provides after school tutoring, homework help and enrichment events. They are taking registrations for 4-12 grade. It is a free program. Here is the link to register. 25-26 After School Registration
