All 8th graders need to fill out the attached link with the name they would like on their diplomas. The form is due by February 13.
Students will also be creating a page in our slide show. More information will be coming soon, you can begin gathering pictures to be included now.
Class Speeches will be due April 30. Students can begin writing their speech if they would like to be considered and allow the Junior High staff to proof read at any point.

Attention 8th Grade Girls! 3 - $1500 Scholarships Applications are available Now! Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW), a strong supporter of Catholic Education, is proud to once again offer three $1,500 Scholarships to three deserving young girls who are planning to enter a Milwaukee Archdiocesan Catholic High School in the Fall of 2025. All 8th grade girls in the diocese are eligible to apply. Please spread the word to eligible daughters, granddaughters, nieces, friends or relatives. Catholic education is expensive, but the benefits are invaluable, and MACCW wants to help! Requirements include: Living in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and planning to attend one of our Faith-Centered Archdiocesan Catholic High Schools; Completing the application form, Writing a 500-word essay answering one of the two questions offered on the form, and a Letter of Recommendation from a non-relative. Application forms and details are available on our website: maccw.com (under Awards). We have to recalibrate our smartboards and certain engine parts as well as update our phone and computer apps. Your brain is even more important to recalibrate so we do not act on irrational emotions. How do you do that quickly? Switch to solving problem mode by solving a simple problem before you dive into worry, anxiety, or anger. Name three things you can see, three things you can hear, and three things you can feel right now. Now make your emotional decision or response. You will find that you react more rationally. You will also realize why blind people can pick up so much information without the use of their eyes.
