Principal Letter/Carta Principal
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
- John 14:27
The school year is winding down and the energy is winding up. You can feel the excitement in the air as the kids know summer is fast approaching. We look forward to so much over the summer including more time with our beloved family, sleeping late, warmer weather, being outside, and no schedules. This is also an end, and with that comes some sadness. I barely got to know our 8th graders and yet we will be sending them off to high school. There are a few families moving who won't be returning and of course other things will be changing in our schools too. June 9th Mr. Geoff, Ms. Lunceford, and myself will be lost without all of the smiling faces that we see everyday the quiet and lack of laughter will be deafening. Thank you all for a year that is worth celebrating. A year that I am sad to end, students I am sad to say good bye too, and a home I want to come back too. These last few weeks will be full of different things, and though it is an ABC countdown each day is a little celebration for us.
