As Thanksgiving grows closer, I drive into John Paul II Academy each day with gratitude. I am truly blessed in this opportunity and the amazing community I am now a part of. After an incredibly busy October and beginning of November I am also grateful to have the next couple weeks of routine and consistent learning schedules in the building. With the regular schedule I am enjoying time in each of the classrooms watching our amazing staff and students in action.
It is with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to Ms. K our K5 Educational Assistant, we wish her well. At this time Mrs. Wolf will be in K5 consistently. We also had Ms. Michelle from aftercare leave for a role with more consistent hours. We are in the middle of a search for someone able to fill her spot in aftercare. If you know someone who may be interested in a few hours a day please have them call the school office. Ms. Smith will be adjusting her hours temporarily to stay for aftercare until we have someone new in place.
A medida que se acerca el Día de Acción de Gracias, conduzco hasta la Academia Juan Pablo II todos los días con gratitud. Me siento realmente bendecida por esta oportunidad y por la increíble comunidad de la que ahora formo parte. Después de un octubre y principios de noviembre increíblemente ocupados, también estoy agradecido de tener las próximas dos semanas de horarios de aprendizaje rutinarios y consistentes en el edificio. Con el horario regular, estoy disfrutando del tiempo en cada uno de los salones de clase viendo a nuestro increíble personal y estudiantes en acción.
Con gran pesar tuvimos que despedirnos de la Sra. K, nuestra asistente educativa K5, le deseamos lo mejor. En este momento, la Sra. Wolf estará constantemente en K5. También hicimos que la Sra. Michelle, de cuidados posteriores, se fuera para un puesto con horarios más consistentes. Estamos en medio de la búsqueda de alguien que pueda ocupar su lugar en el cuidado posterior. Si conoce a alguien que pueda estar interesado en unas horas al día, pídale que llame a la oficina de la escuela. La Sra. Smith ajustará su horario temporalmente para quedarse para recibir cuidados posteriores hasta que tengamos a alguien nuevo en su lugar.

Your mom is not going to follow you around and tell you what a “sweetie pie” you are. If you are in middle school, would you really want her to? No matter what your age, you should be congratulating yourself every step of the way. If you finished a project, celebrate!

This program stresses fitness and social emotional wellness through an engaging curriculum. We will begin taking registrations in January for a March start. If you would be interested and have questions please call the school office. Last weekend our Girls on the Run coach attended the fall session's event at American Family Field.
