September 27: $1 Dress Down Day sponsored by Student Council (STUCO)
October 1: Picture Retake
October 1: 7th grade Field Trip to Camp Wonderland
October 3: Neon/Bright Color Dress Down Day to help celebrate St. Catherine's homecoming weekend (must be in uniform if not in a bright color)
October 4: No School
October 7: 8th grade visit St. Catherine's 11:30-1:00
October 8: 6th Grade Retreat 8:00-2:00
October 11: 6th and 8th grade trip to Madison
October 14: Donuts with Dads
October 18: Trunk or Treat (must sign up by October 16)

As we approach the end of September, cooler days are around the corner. Students do go outside for recess unless it is raining or extremely cold. Please make sure they have the clothing they need to stay warm.
We have a lot of fun things coming up with field trips, themed dress down days, Donuts with Dads (see flyer below) and Trunk or Treat. Given the new requirements for Trunk or Treat we will continue to have the event but there will need to be some very specific guidelines we must follow. Please help us make sure they are followed so we can continue to run the event. Sign up sheet will come home this Friday in our end of month packet and must be returned to the office by October 16.
All candy will be collected and will have a central location for the students to get their treats which will be handed out by a Safe Environment trained team, no candy can be handed out at the cars.
Students and families are encouraged to parade around the cars and vote for their favorite decorated trunk. Likewise those standing at the cars should vote for their favorite costumes.
Families must sign up, and limited to John Paul II Academy students and immediate families (No neighbors, cousins, or outside friends)
Wristbands will be given out based on the number you sign up for anyone without a wristband may not attend
All Safe Environment trained adults will have a separate color wristband.

A medida que nos acercamos al final de septiembre, los días más fríos están a la vuelta de la esquina. Los estudiantes salen al recreo a menos que esté lloviendo o haga mucho frío. Asegúrese de que tengan la ropa que necesitan para mantenerse abrigados.
