There has been so much positivity happening at JPIIA. Each Monday we center our week with an opening prayer service. Our buddy classes have been working together to create different Lenten reminders. We have been able to showcase our school both with PBS and within Siena as we had teachers and Learning Support Coordinators from other schools visit this past Tuesday while our teachers had some on site learning in their classrooms. We did start The Wisconsin Forward testing this week with our 4th & 8th graders, we had them take the test in Haban Hall which worked out very well for focus and spacing. There have been so much each day that a few of the regularly scheduled items have been postponed to help spread things out a bit. First our annual almsgiving will start this coming Monday see information below. Our St. Patrick's Day cookie decorating will happen at a later time. Finally, our school Spelling Bee will be held on April 11 at 1:00. There will not be an all Siena Spelling Bee which I do not have further information on. Classroom Spelling Bees will be held within the next week or so and those moving on to the school level will know by April 2.

Class Speeches will be due April 30. Students can begin writing their speech if they would like to be considered and allow the Junior High staff to proof read at any point.
Students received applications for our Sr. Joyce Wiesner Merit Scholarship last week. This is a $500 award sponsored by our SPA (parent organization). Students are asked to write an essay based on the list of qualities valued by Sr. Joyce. Please return the essay to the office by April 4, 2025. If you have not received the application letter please contact the office.
Students must complete their required service hours to participate in the graduation ceremony. Reminders have been coming home regularly. Another will be coming home requiring a signature if your student is not meeting the requirement.
