Today was a blessing to see all of our Grandparents and special people in our building. The students were so excited. Taher, our food service company, put out a great breakfast. Mrs. Koll and Mrs. Doyle were kept busy in the book fair. Nerves got the better of our 4th grade readers, but I am proud of them for getting up there with so many people at Mass. Days like today really brings to light how absolutely special JPIIA's community is.
Please remember to attend Parent/Teacher conferences tomorrow from 12-8 pm. The building will be closed until 12:00.
Reminder: Shorts were done on October 31. If students are wearing skirts or jumpers please make sure they have leggings or tights underneath. It is getting chilly.
Hoy fue una bendición ver a todos nuestros abuelos y personas especiales en nuestro edificio. Los estudiantes estaban muy emocionados. Taher, nuestra empresa de servicios de alimentación, preparó un fantástico desayuno. La señora Koll y la señora Doyle estuvieron ocupadas en la feria del libro. Los nervios se apoderaron de nuestros lectores de 4to grado, pero estoy orgulloso de ellos por estar allí con tanta gente en la Misa. Días como hoy realmente sacan a la luz lo absolutamente especial que es la comunidad de JPIIA.
Recuerde asistir a las conferencias de padres y maestros mañana de 12 a 8 p. m. El edificio permanecerá cerrado hasta las 12:00.
It was brought to my attention that St. Vincent de Paul is in urgent need of some items. Items needed for Children, Women, and Men: Shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razors, lotions, soaps, deodorant, feminine products (pads and tampons). We will not do a formal drive like we do for "Stuff the Bus" but if anyone would like to contribute we will collect items to pass on to St. Vincent.
We have two options this week: Pico's tonight November 6 and Texas Roadhouse Saturday, November 9.
