1. Reporting Lost Items:
If a guest reports a lost item during or after their stay, the property management team will make reasonable efforts to locate the item.
2. Identification and Notification:
Upon locating a lost item, the operations team will document in BW item found (pictures/what item is)
*We WILL NOT reach out to guests about lost and found, we will be awaiting them reaching out to us !!!
3. Storage and Retention Period:
All lost items will be securely stored for a period of 30 days from the date of discovery.
4. Guest Response:
If no response is received from the guest within 14 days, the item will be considered unclaimed.
If the guest declines to have the item returned, the item will be considered unclaimed.
5. Disposition of Unclaimed Items:
After 30 days, any unclaimed or declined items will become the property of the Short-Term Rental Management (STRM) company.
These items will be donated to charity or disposed of at STRM’s discretion.
6. Liability:
STRM is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Items are stored at the guest’s own risk.
7. Documentation:
All communications with the guest regarding lost and found items will be documented for reference.
