Goal: Review flagged listings, resolve issues promptly, and prevent Airbnb penalties.
Log into Airbnb Host Dashboard.
Click ☰ Menu → Insights → Listing Issues.
Review each listing flagged “Needs Attention”.
Common reasons:
Property not up to standards
Poor communication
Inaccurate listing
Click the alert to see details.
Determine exact nature:
Cleanliness
Broken items or maintenance
Incorrect photos or amenities
Take a screenshot if needed.
Tip: if there are multiple reviews complaining about the same issue be sure to highlight those issues
Operations Team: Maintenance, cleaning, vendor tasks
Communications Team: Guest messaging, process improvements, listing updates
Accounting/Admin: Payment issues
Tag the appropriate team member(s)
In the operations system, create a task using the “Property Needs Attention” template.
Fill in the template fields:
Listing Name & ID
Guest Name
Booking Dates
Issue Description
Required Action & Deadline
Screenshot (if available)
Tag the Operations manager: from this point operation manager will confirm items have been completed or dispurse to in home team supervisors
Check status within 24 hours or until item is resolved
If unresolved, escalate to Comms Supervisor.
Never ignore “Needs Attention” alerts
Resolve issues within Airbnb’s timeline to avoid penalties
Target 2–3 properties weekly
Remove reviews older than 1 year from tracking
