Year 7

Year 7 music introduces students to the fundamentals of music making. Students learn the basics of ukulele/guitar playing and singing, and explore making music on different instruments. These skills are then applied by working collaboratively to write and perform an original song. Instruments and music from New Zealand and Europe are studied. Students are challenged to create short compositions using technology and their knowledge of the musical elements.
