French

Year 10 - Semester Option (this is a full year course that runs over semester 1 and 2)

In Year 10 you can choose to study French or Spanish or both. French and Spanish are languages that are widely spoken around the world.

The aim of the Year 10 languages courses is to enable the students to communicate in real-life situations and to equip them for travelling to a French speaking country. Language classes are interactive, so there are plenty of opportunities for students to practise and improve their skills. The students are exposed to a wide range of different learning activities including digital learning, group learning and independent learning.

There is the opportunity to extend their knowledge of both culture and language through working at their own pace on Languages Badges.
