Health Education

Year 10 - Compulsory

Year 10 Health Education allows students to develop skills, such as risk awareness and decision making, to cope with the range of dynamic issues that our students will encounter as they progress through St Hilda's and beyond. The Year 10 programme focuses on specific issues pertinent to our students.

Course focus

  • mental health skills and mindfulness

  • risk awareness and recognising challenges and decision making skills

  • leadership and initiative in the field of health among the students own community networks

The course is dynamic and flexible and allows for student input into both the content and the method of learning, as the content attempts to meet students need in the changing environment of their world.
